A creative device and brand for the Bridge

The Bridge solves the problem of the experience and ability gap between standard and mobile computer users and the training and tools they need to participate in the metaverse of Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality.

This gap limits the future adoption of technologies because users must choose either one type of experience or the other, and currently Augmented and Virtual Reality are limited by head-mounted devices primarily for gaming or large industrial use.

When a device connects both standard (and easily-intuited) computer use with the abilities of the metaverse, a new paradigm opens and allows users options.

The Bridge was created during a ten-week design sprint to develop a new mobile and physically interactive Augemted Reality (AR) and Mixed Realtity (MR) platform which also creates a space for traditional and mobile style interfaces.

Hundreds of concept sketches and feedback from IT professionals rapidly evolved the concepts into a reasonable and efficient device.

Users wear AR/MR glasses, for example Apple Glasses, and connect with the Bridge via USB-C to interact with the Multiverse and standard applications.

The device responds to gestural commands such as waving and motion.
Two dimple buttons and a flat "touch" zone allow infinite interface customization.

An expandable work area between the two halves of the open device provides plenty of space for interfaces. If the screens are floated in 3D space, the area gives the user a touchable space to control their experience.

Visual feedback is provided by advanced personal optics in the glasses.

Interface screens, pictures, movies, conferencing, and more are not limited to flat experiences.

The Bridge hardware is a pair of glasses and a mobile "gesture wand" that opens for a  touch-based interface.
